New Enterprise Associates led our $22m Series B round in 2022, with Philip Chopin joining Sequoia's Luciana Lixandru on our board. As a Paralegal at Ledgy, your mission will be to manage diverse legal and compliance matters, from commercial contracts to data privacy, while collaborating across teams in a dynamic scale-up. At Ledgy, you will:
Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts (including SaaS agreements, NDAs, supplier contracts, partnership agreements). Assist with data privacy matters (UK and EU GDPR, international transfers, vendor due diligence). Support the creation and rollout of legal playbooks, templates, and process improvements. Help manage and deliver legal projects across the business, from compliance initiatives to operational risk reviews. Maintain contract management systems and ensure accurate record-keeping. Collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales, Product, InfoSec, and Finance teams. Report directly into our General Counsel. You'll be a great fit for the job if you. . .
2+ years of paralegal or junior legal experience in-house or in private practice, ideally within a start-up environment delivering SaaS products. Strong commercial contracts experience (reviewing, marking-up, and spotting issues quickly). Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities autonomously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (bonus points if you're also versed in German). Proactive, collaborative mindset, and the confidence to take ownership. Nice to have: Experience in regulated fintech or financial services environments. Experience managing contract automation and management software.
