As our new Legal Administrator, based in Wellington and reporting to Associate General Counsel, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting Contact’s Board processes, maintaining company records, and assisting with a range of corporate activities. You’ll work closely with our legal team, the General Counsel & Company Secretary, and stakeholders across the business, ensuring our legal operations run smoothly and efficiently.What your days might look like:Keeping company records and statutory registers accurate and up to date, supporting Contact’s governance obligations. Preparing for Board and Committee meetings, making sure materials are ready, records are maintained, and resolutions are filed. Acting as company secretary for subsidiaries and joint ventures, coordinating agendas, attending meetings, and keeping minutes. Supporting listed company administration, including releasing NZX and ASX announcements (with guidance from the team). Providing administrative support to the legal team, including document management and record keeping. Helping with corporate activities like the Annual Shareholder Meeting and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal obligations. QualificationsKo wai koe | About youYou’re someone who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in accuracy and organisation. Ideally, you’ll bring experience in company administration, legal operations, or corporate governance support, along with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively are important. If you’re proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems, that’s a bonus.Most importantly, you’re team-oriented, proactive, and behave consistently with personal values that complement Contact’s values.
