We’re looking for a dedicated and client focused Legal Assistant to join our Claims division, working across life insurance and disability claims, including Total and Permanent Disability (TPD). As a Legal Assistant you will be responsible for providing legal and administrative support to the Claims team, with a particular focus on managing and progressing superannuation and litigated claims.This role works closely with Claim Managers, Solicitors, Associates and the Practice Leader to ensure the efficient handling of claims and that all necessary legal requirements are met.  Why You’ll Love Working Here Flexibility: Hybrid working arrangements to support your lifestyleGrowth: Ongoing professional development, leadership training and genuine career progressionRewards: Competitive salary and transparent performance-based bonus schemesBelonging: Be part of a collaborative, down to earth and driven team where your contributions matter Wellbeing: Access to mental health and resilience support programs designed for legal professionalsAbout the Role As a Legal Assistant at Aussie Injury Lawyers, you will: ●      Coordinate and progress a caseload of superannuation and TPD claims and litigated claims●      Work collaboratively with internal team members and liaise with clients, insurers and medical providers, maintaining strong professional relationships●      Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining a supportive and empathetic approach to clients navigating difficult personal circumstances●      Provide clients with high-quality advice and guidance throughout the claims process, including insurance eligibility, insurer identification and claim strategy●      Draft legal documents, submissions and correspondence with minimal supervision ●      Maintain accurate records and file notes using internal systems (Actionstep, Outlook, DocuSign, Excel)●      Uphold AIL’s commitment to helping everyday Aussies reclaim their futureWho We’re Looking For We’re looking for a confident and capable Legal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. What Else We’re Looking For ●      Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Clerk, with an understanding of TPD and income protection processes ●      Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and supportive way●      Strong client relationships and legal drafting skills. ●      Confident in liaising with insurers, super funds, medical providers and internal stakeholders●      Ability to provide clear solutions to problems and discuss issues with Senior LeadershipReady to do meaningful work that truly matters to people’s lives?
