Legal & Compliance Counsel (M&A | Investments)

Our client is a regional professional services and investment group with a strong footprint across multiple cities in Asia. The group partners with both multinational and local companies to accelerate business growth through strategy consulting, management support, and principal investments.They are currently looking for a Legal & Compliance Counsel to provide comprehensive legal and compliance oversight across the Group’s business operations in the APAC region.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all legal matters across the Group’s entities and business unitsAdvise senior management on legal strategy, risk management, and regulatory complianceDraft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements (service, SaaS, vendor, and contractor agreements, NDAs)Support and manage end-to-end M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investmentsEnhance internal policy frameworks and compliance programs to ensure regulatory alignment and risk mitigationLiaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and regulatory authorities on legal and compliance issuesRequirements:Experience in corporate commercial and/or M&A work preferredStrong stakeholder management skills and commercial acumenAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-border environmentOpen to candidates from private practice, as well as those with a blend of private practice and in-house experienceTo Apply:If you are interested in this opportunity or other roles we are handling, please submit your application or reach out to Amanda directly at amanda.chan@ambition.com.sg for a confidential discussion.We will contact applicants who have been successfully shortlisted.
