Legal Counsel – Compliance OperationsHigh-Growth Global Organisation | Hybrid Working | Build & Scale Compliance InfrastructureEMEA Recruitment is delighted to partner with a fast-scaling, international organisation to appoint a Legal Counsel – Compliance Operations.This role is a key hire in strengthening and operationalising the company’s Compliance function as it continues its rapid global expansion.You will play a central role in building, implementing, and maintaining practical, scalable Compliance processes, working closely with global and regional teams to ensure policies translate into effective day-to-day controls.This opportunity is perfect for a hands-on Legal or Compliance professional who enjoys creating structure, embedding frameworks, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. You’ll be empowered to take ownership, work cross-functionally, and influence Compliance culture across regions.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the design, rollout, and operationalisation of the global Compliance programmeTranslate policies and regulatory requirements into practical, actionable processes across marketsWork closely with regional Legal & Compliance teams to execute compliance initiatives locallyMonitor, track, and report on Compliance KPIs and program maturity, ensuring accurate data, dashboarding, and insightsImplement and maintain controls, checklists, workflows, and monitoring activities to support Compliance readinessAssist in internal Compliance investigations and manage documentation/reporting requirementsMaintain awareness of evolving regulations and update processes, standards and controls as neededContribute to training, awareness initiatives, and Compliance culture buildingThe skills required for the Legal Counsel - Compliance Operations:Legal qualification or equivalent Legal training preferred3-6 years' PQE in Legal Counsel or related rolesStrong understanding of Compliance programs, anti-bribery, and regulatory requirementsExperience with internal investigations is a plusAbility to work collaboratively with regional and country Legal teamsProficient in Compliance reporting and metrics managementFluent in English - additional languages are an advantageEMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
