You’ll join a pragmatic, business‑minded, international team and work closely with stakeholders across the business.The PositionIn this broad, business-facing role, you will support Action’s dynamic, international retail organization across a wide range of topics. This position is a great opportunity for a legal professional seeking to advance their career, assume greater responsibility, and contribute meaningfully to Action’s daily operations.You’ll be part of a pragmatic, collaborative group-level team, working independently while also partnering closely with colleagues across various disciplines. In this role, you will also play a key part in assisting and supporting other team members, stepping in wherever needed and embracing a “jack of all trades” approach to contribute to the team’s overall success.A substantial part of your work involves commercial contracting. You will negotiate, review and draft a wide variety of agreements for goods and services needed to run a large international retailer. You proactively improve the contracting approach by helping to develop templates and guidance, train stakeholders, and spot opportunities to streamline processes.In addition, you will also provide corporate support on group matters such as incorporating new country entities, handling corporate housekeeping, coordinating KYC, and assisting the Head of Legal & Corporate Secretary with corporate governance tasks like drafting and updating internal governance policies and frameworks. You help safeguard the quality and consistency of our corporate framework as the business grows and evolves.Finally, you will also offer occasional support to the Customer Service team on complex or sensitive customer issues, such as escalations, recurring patterns or cross‑border matters, while the day‑to‑day, routine questions remain the responsibility of the Customer Service team.The variety and international scope of this role offer genuine breadth and responsibility. You will alternate between hands‑on execution and higher‑level guidance, knowing when to be closely involved and when to support from a distance.The ProfileWe are looking for an organized, hands-on legal professional with a collaborative mindset who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and handling a variety of legal matters.A Dutch bachelor and master degree in law (LL.M. or equivalent)3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial contracting and corporate matters; experience with or interest in technology-related contracting is a plusExperience with working in an international context is preferredAffinity with legal technology and AI-driven solutions would be considered a great additional assetFluent in English, additional European languages are a bonusThe OfferWorking in a fast-growing international environment.
