We are partnering with a fast-growing, long-term real estate investment platform operating across Asia. The firm focuses on acquiring, developing, and managing high-quality urban, industrial, and logistics real estate in key growth markets. They collaborate with entrepreneurs, institutional investors, and strategic partners to unlock value and scale sustainable businesses. The APAC legal team is integral to enabling business growth, ensuring transactions are structured efficiently, risk is mitigated, and governance is maintained across jurisdictions. Role Overview The Senior Legal Counsel will play a key strategic and operational role, providing guidance and support on complex transactions and corporate matters. The ideal candidate is a commercially astute lawyer with strong experience in M&A, divestments, and fund-related transactions, ideally with exposure to real estate investments or private equity real estate (PERE). You will work closely with investment teams, corporate functions, and senior leadership, providing legal support across a wide range of activities. Key Responsibilities:Transactional & Investment SupportLead legal support for acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures across APAC marketsAdvise on fund structures, investor agreements, and capital deploymentDraft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and partnership arrangementsWork with external counsel to ensure transactions are executed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirementsCorporate & GovernanceProvide legal advice to Finance, Tax, HR, Operations, IT and other corporate teams on strategic initiativesSupport the development and implementation of enterprise-wide governance policies and proceduresAnticipate, identify, and mitigate legal risks arising from new business models, products, or expansion initiativesRegional Liaison & Stakeholder ManagementServe as a key legal partner for designated APAC markets, ensuring local compliance while maintaining Group standardsPresent complex legal matters and transaction structures to senior leadership and investment committeesMaintain strong relationships with external counsel, regulators, and business stakeholdersTeam & Process ImprovementSupport initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and automation within the legal functionMentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and professional development within the teamCandidate Profile / Requirements Essential:Qualified lawyer with over 6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and transactional mattersDemonstrated expertise in M&A, divestments, joint ventures, and fund-related dealsPrior involvement in real estate investments, REITs, or private equity real estate (PERE) is strongly advantageousThrives in fast-moving, high-pressure environments, able to operate with minimal supervisionPossesses excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholdersExperienced in cross-border transactions and familiar with regulatory requirements across APAC marketsDesirable:Exposure to private equity real estate (PERE) or investment fund operationsExperience with complex corporate structures and investor documentationPrior in-house or law firm experience in high-growth, entrepreneurial environmentsWhy This Role is Exciting:High-impact position contributing to strategic investments across APACHands-on involvement in complex transactions and fund operationsOpportunity to influence governance, risk frameworks, and operational excellenceExposure to regional leadership and investment teams, providing excellent career growth potentialBe part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environmentInterested candidates, please click “APPLY NOW” or reach out for a confidential discussion.EA Registration Number: R22106016EA Licence Number: 16S8127
