Legal Counsel – Infrastructure & Energy Projects (Global)Helsinki A global developer in the sustainable digital infrastructure and renewable energy space is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support large-scale data centre and energy projects across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.This is a key strategic role providing end-to-end legal and commercial support on project development, investment structuring, and compliance matters in multiple jurisdictions.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including EPC/vendor contracts, consultancy agreements, lease/licensing, NDAs, and financing documents.Manage legal risk and ensure contract compliance across multiple global jurisdictions.Advise on project financing, M&A, and corporate structuring activities (including SPVs and intercompany agreements).Liaise with external counsel to ensure compliance with local laws and regulatory frameworks.Support business teams on governance, data protection, AML, ESG, and environmental compliance.Maintain and improve internal legal processes and contract management systems.ProfileQualified lawyer with 5–10 years’ post-qualification experience (mix of law firm and in-house preferred).Background in infrastructure, renewable energy, or digital/data-centre projects.Strong cross-border experience covering Europe, the Middle East, and/or Asia-Pacific.Skilled in commercial and corporate law, contract negotiation, and international project transactions.Familiarity with compliance frameworks (corporate secretary, AML, anti-bribery, environmental, data protection).Confident operating independently in fast-paced, international settings.Excellent written and verbal English; additional language skills (Mandarin, French, Spanish, etc.) advantageous.Ideal for a commercially minded legal professional who thrives on international deal-making and wants to shape the legal foundations of a high-growth, sustainability-focused company.
