Insurance Sector: Legal CounselA company in the insurance sector is seeking a skilled and motivated Legal Counsel to join its Legal & International Affairs Department. The successful candidate will actively contribute to enhancing the quality of legal services and supporting regulatory and institutional initiatives in the insurance industry.ResponsibilitiesMonitor legislative and regulatory developments at both national and EU level that impact the insurance sector Review decisions from administrative and judicial authorities and inform relevant stakeholders accordingly Draft legal memos, policy briefs, and formal position papers on regulatory issues Develop and support proposals for improving the legal and regulatory framework governing private insurance Provide legal support to internal Committees and Working Groups Review and draft contracts Assist with internal processes and legal complianceRequirementsUniversity degree in Law from a recognized institution Postgraduate degree in Law will be considered an asset Licensed to practice law in Greece Proven legal experience of 3 to 5 years, with at least 2 years related to insurance law or relevant regulatory frameworks Excellent command of both Greek and English (written and spoken) Proficiency in MS Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint Knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered a plus Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking Time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines Flexibility and adaptability BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageCareer development and growth opportunities
