Your role offers the possibility to grow in your legal areas of interest and develop your advisory and negotiating skills. You will work with the business on a daily basis and function as their trusted advisor.Key About Your TeamAs Legal Counsel you become part of the Legal team, consisting of two seniors looking for support in the wide array of the legal work. The Legal team falls under CFO responsibility and offer advice to all levels at Keylane. This roles offers a great learning and on-the-job training opportunity in a small team in an international environment. You will be based in our Utrecht office, while some travel to our other offices may be required.Key About YouA Master's degree in (European Union member state) law;At least 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably dealing with IT and privacy matters;Interest in contract, IT and privacy laws;Interest in working for the financial sector with its regulatory environment;Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;Willingness to learn and grow;Excellent drafting and communication skills in English - knowing some Dutch is preferred;Daring to advise and taking a position, thereby balancing risks and business interests;Cooperative, down-to-earth and pro-activeA Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application processEach employee within Keylane must follow training on information security and irrespective to the role, basic information security responsibilities will applyKey About Your ResponsibilitiesReviewing, negotiating and amending (international) sales and vendor contracts;Advising on data protection matters, from negotiating data processing agreement to assisting the business in drawing up data transfer analyses;Assisting on day-to-day corporate work;Supporting business with performing risk analyses and mitigation actions;Advising business on company's policies;Following legal developments and translating these into practical instructions to board and businessKeylane offersA monthly gross salary between € 4150 and € 5800 based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience;8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;A profit share;A pension scheme, with the option to save extra; Travel reimbursement: Receive a mileage allowance of €0.23 per km or an NS Business Card, which can also be used for personal travel;24 holiday days (with the option to buy extra) and 7 inclusion days, which can be exchanged with fixed Dutch national holidays, allowing you to take them when you like; Flexibility in working environment. As part of a hybrid working team, you will work partly from home and partly from the office. If you work in the office, a free lunch is waiting for you every day.
