Join our TeamAbout This OpportunityEricsson's Group Privacy Office within GF Legal Affairs & Compliance develops and maintains Ericsson’s global Privacy Framework and provides guidance on data regulations such as AI Act and Data Act. We are seeking an additional Data & Privacy Lawyer to support privacy, data and digital regulation across Ericsson’s global operations. The role focuses on interpreting and operationalizing data and privacy regulations to enable compliant, trustworthy, and innovative use of data and AI in our services and activities.What You Will Do Join the Group Privacy & Data unit and collaborate with Privacy Advisors, Legal Counsels, Security Managers, Product and Solution teams, Government and Industry Relations, and other stakeholders to provide guidance and support. Serve as a subject-matter expert on complex privacy issues and translate regulations and industry standards into policy, guidance, tools, best practices, and metrics that form our Privacy Framework. Develop templates, standards, tools, and training to raise awareness of privacy regulations (including AI Act and Data Act) across regions and jurisdictions. Provide legal advice on privacy, information security, and related data matters for cross-functional projects, products, and opportunities to ensure privacy-by-design and data management requirements are met. Advise on topics such as data analytics, cloud, IoT, SaaS, and emerging technologies, identifying evolving privacy issues and trends. Update management, security, and compliance teams on new or revised legal and regulatory requirements in privacy and data protection. Establish strategic goals for the privacy program by gathering business and compliance information and evaluating outcomes.The Skills You Bring Minimum 4 years of experience as a business lawyer with a privacy or regulated-data focus. Experience with privacy regulations related to regulated data, preferably in telecom, with an interest in global privacy and data management programs. Strong networking and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external contacts. Independent, goal-oriented, and systematic approach; high integrity and analytical mindset. Ability to manage legal matters independently in a fast-paced environment while juggling competing priorities. Team-oriented and proactive, with a keen interest in emerging technologies and solid business understanding. International experience is an asset.
