Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading international healthcare services organisation, is seeking an In-House Senior Legal Counsel to support their expanding operations in Ireland and globally. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with business leaders on key legal initiatives in a dynamic and supportive environment.Key responsibilities:Lead and oversee complex legal projects from initiation to completion while engaging with relevant stakeholders. Advise on diverse legal, corporate, and compliance matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Negotiate and manage a broad spectrum of high value commercial contracts.Collaborate with internal teams to execute agreements efficiently. Lead legal support for corporate transactions (M&A & strategic investments), including managing legal due diligence, reviewing transaction documents and liaising with external advisors.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Coordinate with external counsel to manage and minimise costs.Balance and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.Requirements/Qualifications:Solicitor qualification with 7+ years of post-qualification experience in private practice or in-house roles. This level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role.Proven track record in negotiating and managing commercial contracts.Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Commercially savvy with a problem-solving approach.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working well in a team.Ability to independently manage assignments.Committed work ethic and positive attitude.
