Taylor Hopkinson is in the search of a Legal Counsel/Manager for a global leader in the energy industry, currently expanding its business in Poland.The role is based in Warsaw, with the possibility of having a hybrid work.ResponsibilitiesSupport business development and cross-functional teams in drafting, negotiating and advising on project-related documentation, including EPC agreements, land options, leases, grid connection agreements, PPAs, tender documents, etcManage risk control for investments in solar, energy storage and wind projects, including acquisition planning, contract drafting and review, risk assessment and mitigation, and oversight during project constructionLead legal work through financial close, including reviewing and drafting loan agreements, security packages and common terms agreements, and coordinating with lenders’ legal advisorsResearch local laws, regulations and policies (company, investment, land, construction, civil, commercial, and energy-related regulations) and assess their practical application to projectsMonitor and interpret laws and regulations relevant to each project and ensure complianceCoordinate, supervise and support external law firms to deliver high-quality legal servicesRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Law (Master’s appreciated)Experience handling legal matters in the renewable energy sector, particularly in project developmentFluency in Polish and EnglishAvailability to travel when required, mainly to local projects and authorities
