At The Law Offices of Benjamin T. McLawhorn, we are seeking motivated, responsible, and passionate candidates for Legal Internships to assist our team. The expected start date for this position is January 2026. This internship program is an unpaid position and lasts approximately 3-5 months, with a strong possibility of further employment for the right candidate following the successful completion of the program. The ideal applicant must be able to be physically in the office 20 hours a week, approximately 3 days. Responsibilities: -Answering phones and assisting with client inquiries -Running errands for the firm -Writing basic substantive and non-substantive legal documents under supervision -Conducting legal research -Office administrative tasks -Assisting with scheduling and calendar management Requirements: -Availability to work minimum 20 hours a week (approximately 3 days) in our Cary office.-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or have completed a bachelor’s degree. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is suggested but not strictly required for the right candidate.-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Passion for law and for helping others will take you far in this role!The Law Offices of Benjamin T.
