Legal & Research Internship — Maritime ESG & Environmental Compliance (Global Remote)

We’re building the future of Maritime ESG compliance.At EPℇC Corvux, we’re developing a SaaS platform that helps maritime companies comply with EU MRV, EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, and IMO DCS regulations — unifying emissions monitoring, ESG reporting, and verification in one intelligent system.We’re now looking for a Legal & Research Intern to join our early-stage team (Global Remote). This position is designed for students or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in maritime environmental regulation and ESG compliance while contributing to a real-world climate tech product.This is a non-paid internship, focused on professional experience and exposure.Selected candidates will have the possibility of a future paid position once the company secures funding and enters its next growth phase.What you'll doResearch and summarize maritime and environmental regulations (EU MRV, ETS, FuelEU Maritime, IMO DCS, SEEMP).Support the creation of regulatory documentation, compliance frameworks and ESG logic used in the platform.Identify and map data and reporting requirements from each regulatory body.Collaborate with the product and design team to translate legal frameworks into digital workflows.Monitor upcoming EU / IMO sustainability initiatives and verification processes.Who you areStudent or graduate in Law, International Relations, Maritime Studies, or Environmental Policy.Strong research and writing skills in English and Spanish (both required).Curious about maritime sustainability, climate policy, and compliance tech.Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working remotely with an international team.What you'l gainReal experience in EU ESG and maritime compliance.Direct collaboration with the founders of an international ESG SaaS startup.Mentorship and insight into how legal frameworks translate into technology.Opportunity to evolve into a paid position once funding or commercial pilots are secured.📍 Location: Netherlands (Global Remote) 🕓 Type: Internship – Experience-based 🌐 epec-corvux.com
