Location: Tokyo or Singapore.We are working with a globally based technology MNC who are looking to hire a transactional lawyer to join an established legal function.Work FocusTransactions: 60%Commercial: 20%Compliance & Projects: 20%Job DescriptionThis newly created role will see you take the lead on a wide variety of transactions / agreements. Your role will take a leading role on complex transactions, ensuring legal support is available throughout deal lifecycles.You will offer on-point advice to business units on a range of complex issues and across the working region.You will work closely with teams on the structuring and the design of new products in existing and new markets.You will also offer hands on support for other topics such as commercial, compliance and project related matters.Requirements6 - 12 PQELaw firm training at a Tier 1 law firmTransactional background (open on practice area)Japanese languages - near native minimum requirementAbility to work with stakeholders across Asia, Europe and the USSD Legal was established in 2018 and now with physical office locations across Europe and Asia.To date we have successfully closed over 150+ mandates across the globe, locations include the US, UK, Europe, Africa, Middle East and APAC regions.
