The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in assessing, managing, and mitigating Legionella risks in various environments. IWS (WH) is a successful, growing company that is looking for talented employees who want to work in an environment that is challenging and rewarding.The RolePromote safe ways of working at all timesSupervise a team of Legionella risk assessors, providing leadership, guidance, and supportConduct Legionella risk assessments in various premises, including but not limited to industrial, commercial, Health care and residential buildingsReview and evaluate Legionella risk assessment reports submitted by the team to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with relevant regulations and standardsDevelop and implement Legionella control and management strategies based on assessment findings and best practicesWhat You’ll NeedCertification as a Legionella Risk Assessor e.g., City & Guilds, is essentialIn-depth knowledge of Legionella bacteria, associated health risks, and control measuresExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsTwo years of experience in Legionella risk assessment and management (preferred)One year in a supervisory or managerial role (preferred)Full and valid driving licenceCity & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or higher Plumbing (required)ACOP L8, Water Regulations, COSHH and HSAWA (preferred)Water Hygiene work history: one year (preferred)What You’ll Get In ReturnJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From £To £33,891 per yearBenefitsCompany vehicleCompany pensionCycle to work schemeLife insuranceStore discountEmployee referral programme24/7 remote GP accessSchedule8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayOvertime
