Are you looking for a role where every decision you make leaves a mark? At LEMAN, we’re continuing our journey to modernize and grow our business across borders — and that means focusing on finding strong, local leadership. Norway is an important part of that journey. Thanks to the dedication of our current team, we’ve built a solid foundation in the market. Now, we’re looking for someone who can take it further — leading our Norwegian operations with clarity, curiosity, and commercial drive.
As Country CEO, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping LEMAN’s presence in Norway — not just from the top, but right in the middle of the business. This is a unique opportunity to grow a profitable business with full P&L responsibility, lead a capable team, and make LEMAN’s brand and culture tangible in the market. What You’ll Be DoingRunning the business: You’ll own the Norwegian P&L and lead the business end-to-end. That includes sales, operations, finance, and support — all with strong collaboration across Group functions.
Building Customer TrustYou’ll be close to key customers and prospects, making sure they experience LEMAN as a reliable, committed, and forward-thinking partner. Coaching Local LeadersYou’ll lead a diverse team across functions and work to create an environment where people take ownership, support one another, and grow together. Translating Strategy Into ActionYou’ll turn Group-level priorities into local decisions. You’ll share what works and flag what doesn’t — and be part of shaping how we move forward as a company.
Strengthening Internal OperationsYou’ll make sure our processes run smoothly and compliantly — while staying curious about what can be done smarter, faster, or better. Who We’re Looking ForYou’re commercially sharp and operationally grounded. You’ve probably held a senior leadership role in freight forwarding, logistics, or transport — and have experience owning a P&L. More than that, you’re energized by building things. You care about results, but also just as much about your people.
You Likely BringA strong commercial background and familiarity with freight forwarding and logistics marketExperience leading teams - with a balance of accountability and careA solid understanding of financial performance, forecasting, and margin managementA practical, hands-on mindset - you’re close to the numbers, the people, and the decisionsFluency in Norwegian and EnglishWhy this role might feel rightIf you’re looking to make a meaningful impact at country level — while staying closely connected to an international group leadership team — this is your chance.
You’ll help shape how LEMAN shows up in Norway, with support from across the business but real room to make it your own. Why this role might not be for youThis role requires someone who’s ready to lead — with autonomy, responsibility, and visibility. If you prefer highly structured environments or feel more comfortable as a functional lead than a general business owner, this may not be the right fit.
