Your Role And ResponsibilitiesOur Corporate Affairs team drives broad, cross-company reputation and positioning initiatives and brings together complementary functions that shape perceptions of the company and speak to specific audiences: IBMers, top tier reporters, industry analysts, and current or potential clients. As part of the Corporate Affairs team, our IBMer Communications professionals create experiences that engage IBMers in our company strategy and help them understand how they contribute to our business and clients' success.

These professionals partner with business units, geographies and markets to provide employees with the knowledge, information and clear calls to action needed to work effectively and deliver business results, while also building their belief in and advocacy for the IBM brand. We offer a dynamic blend of personal flexibility and a thriving in-office environment. This role requires three days of in-office presence per week, with two days for remote work. Within This Role, Professionals Will Be Expected ToBuild strong, collaborative relationships across their team, function and company.

Use data to understand our internal audience and what drives action when developing and executing strategies, messages, assets and programs. Develop a strong understanding of IBM's overall strategy and growth initiatives to ensure all content and programs help IBMers see themselves within our strategy and how they contribute to IBM's overall success. Support the design, creation and deployment of content that engages, informs and inspires audiences. Required Technical And Professional Expertise Strong writing ability and a passion for storytelling. Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize multiple sources into a single, compelling story.

A self-starter who can work flexibly across various internal communication topics in multiple high visibility projects simultaneously. Data-driven mindset with a passion to measure and analyze data to inform decisions and optimize internal channels. Curious learner who can quickly develop an understanding of a wide range of subjects, and understand and apply feedback. Creative thinker who can develop and execute new, effective ways of communicating. Growth mindset and willing to adjust ways of working and communication approaches based on current business needs and results.

Collaborative team player who is enthusiastic about partnering across teams inside and outside of communications and marketing. Experience creating various media formats-from long-form writing to videos (both on-camera and behind the camera), podcasts, animations and visuals. Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Experience with a creative communications role. Experience in various tools and approaches to communications - including digital publishing, design, video production, metrics and email tools. Innovative and proactive problem solver who enjoys complex projects that do not always have a clear answer.
