DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Live Sports Business Analyst to manage reporting, marketplace overview and analysis of the Amazon Live Sports properties on a global level (NBA, WNBA, NASCAR, NWSL, NFL, NHL, Soccer, and more). You will be part of an innovative, fast-moving team focused on analyzing, strategizing and reporting on inventory, revenue and performance data to help drive results against the premier sports properties in the industry.

You will work closely with the Live Sports Sales, Planning, Operations, Inventory and Product teams to create and deploy reports and analysis as well as refine processes, best practices and create requirements for operational excellence in the seasons to come. This role is part of the Global Advertising Sales organization and based in NYC.

Key job responsibilitiesAnalyze and model Live Sports sales strategies across locales (both US and Global) Become a subject matter expert in terms of Live Sports data, requirements and system enhancements needed to optimize analytics and reporting Execute granular revenue, marketplace, category and performance reporting capabilities Develop models and strategy to manage liability/delivery Create and deploy scenario modelling capabilities to outline marketplace and forecasting to inform leadership Taking ownership of reporting processes to ensure that each report is accurate and timely with a high degree of customer focus in resolving data discrepancies Develop processes to efficiently distribute and notify core stakeholders of required actions based on analysis and/or performance-based live sports data Support global teams and implement best practices and insights as we scale across locales and properties Streamline reporting insights across properties and platforms based on ad serving execution Basic Qualifications3+ years relevant professional experience in media/digital/linear analytics and reporting Working understanding of the digital/tv media marketplace, including upfronts, holding company/agency relationships Proven track record of building and creating new reports and analysis Strong communication and presentations skills Superior Excel skills Comfort with large data sets Superior organization skills Ability to handle a wide range of subject matter and a fast-paced environment Experience defining requirements and using data/metrics to draw business insights and influence stakeholders Experience building and maintaining automated forecasting models, utilizing regression and statistical methodologies Preferred QualificationsMajor media company or publisher side experience preferred Understanding of Salesforce/CRM tools and workflow Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Self-motivated and comfortable working in new and undefined spaces Ability to create new and innovative solutions and processes based on customer feedback and technology capabilities Ability to articulate longer term needs or strategies Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
