About The Role & TeamWalt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research arm of The Walt Disney Company's Parks and Resorts business segment. Representing more than 130 subject areas, the talented Imagineers are responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels, water parks, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, cruise ships and new media technology projects!You will join a team of architects, planners, landscape architects, engineers, real estate experts, and data management and business analytics professionals who share a passion for solving hard problems.
As an Executive Assistant, you are a key part of the support team that drives strategy for Imagineering ground-breaking experiences. You are quick to respond, anticipating the needs of your executives, while always staying one step ahead. You manage busy calendars as well as assist with executive reviews both for other Imagineers and top executives across the company. You will report to the Executive Master Planner. This is a Full-Time role. What You Will DoThis position will support 2 executives and 2 senior leaders within the Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Strategy Studio team.
You would be a part of the Menu Planning and Master Planning teams. Every day in this role is different! On any given day you might:
Thoughtfully manage complex calendars to align critical interface with TWDC senior leaders, government representatives and third parties from around the globe Book domestic and global travel for your leader and their teams and build travel itineraries Manage Travel & Entertainment expenses for your executives and their teams Proactively resolve problems and pitch in to help Coordinate onboarding/offboarding of team members Order supplies and equipment along with other office management duties Prepare reports to be shared with leaders and stakeholders Schedule and host in person and/or Zoom meetings which could include presentation sharing and booking conference rooms Exercise good judgement and discretion while maintaining confidentiality of information and documents Interface directly with other senior executives and executive support professionals - your ability to work well with people on all levels is critical Attend meetings to take notes as well as follow-up on action items Prepare professional PowerPoint Decks Protect the Executive's time through strategic and proactive calendar management and vetting a variety of meeting requests Work closely with the Executive on activities, projects, meetings, event planning and office logistics Required Qualifications & Skills3 years minimum experience in a role providing administrative support to leaders or equivalent experience (added) Strong proficiency with standard office tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel Professional and highly discreet while maintaining absolute confidentiality Experience within the Walt Disney Company or experiences supporting executives in planning, architecture/design and real estate development/A&E organization Effective communication skills, including diplomatic and professional handling of telephone and email communications Ability to deal with constantly shifting priorities, deadlines and directives Proactive, resourceful, flexible, and responsible Experience handling confidential information Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks with shifting deadlines Flexibility to work overtime as needed in urgent situations Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience supporting or working with TWDC Executive Leadership External experience with government and development agencies Experience with SAP, Keynote, Concur, and Coupa EducationA Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceAdditional InformationDisney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
