UPMC Corporate Finance is seeking a dynamic Pharmacy Specialist – 340B CRP to lead innovative initiatives within our pharmacy service line, with a sharp focus on the 340B Drug Pricing Program. This role is a unique opportunity to blend clinical expertise with operational excellence, driving impactful solutions across the UPMC Health System.

You’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge strategies that ensure compliance, optimize efficiency, and enhance the value of our 340B program—all while supporting UPMC’s mission to deliver world-class care. Location: This position is fully remote. ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Compliance: Participate in internal and external meetings. Maintain expert knowledge of HRSA, OPA, and state regulations related to 340B. Ensure program compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Technology & Vendor OversightAnalyze and support 340B software systems (e. g. , split billing, contract pharmacy). Oversee vendor performance and maintain accurate drug accumulator files and crosswalks.

Program OperationsSupport system-wide 340B oversight, ensuring compliance and reporting. Collaborate with partners to enhance program efficiency and implement consistent policies and procedures. Data & ReportingMaintain 340B databases and registries. Develop and enhance reporting tools for drug purchasing and program performance. Engage with cross-functional teams to support pharmacy operations. Professionalism & CollaborationWork independently and as part of a team. Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy, or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm. D. ) from an accredited U. S. School of Pharmacy. Masters Degree in Business/Management or Hospital Pharmacy Administration preferred.

Five years of hospital pharmacy operations experience or related experience required, with a minimum of three years of experience with purchasing/procurement, pharmacy billing/information systems. Previous experience with 340B program operations is required. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Must have strong analytical ability and organizational skills. Computer literacy for pharmacy programming, word processing, data management. Assessment of job related skills and competency will be reviewed annually via daily functioning, job-related documentation, department based competency programs, and continuing education activities.

Licensure, Certifications, And ClearancesPharmacist Registration as a registered pharmacist (RPh), in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity. Continuing Education requirements met each bi-annual cycle for re-licensure, as evident by obtaining a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years in structured pharmaceutical education as necessary by the state board.
