Job Description SummaryThe Administrative Assistant is often the first point of contact by customers, both internal and external, thus requiring outstanding interpersonal skills, knowledge of quality ISO9001: 2015ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionPerform complex and confidential administrative activities requiring analytical application and independent judgment in support of the Region Management Team. Provide administrative services including telephone coverage, mail and fax processing and distribution, file maintenance, ordering of office supplies and office hardware. Develop presentations, memos, charts, proposals, correspondence, etc. Maintain and coordinate calendars, schedule appointments and coordinate facility and customer meetings. Interface with customers and other visitors.
Provide administrative support to multiple staff members. Receive and refer telephone information, direct routine matters for action, answer questions to inquiries and/or direct them to the proper resources. Knowledge of quality ISO9001: 2015 Cultivate a strong culture for quality and compliance throughout the assigned plant - Act as the quality ambassador Provide overall quality leadership, direction and support for the plant. Actively participate in the Quality calls as per assignment Promote quality engagement and collaboration with all team members Provide Quality Management System (QMS) leadership & direction to all levels of the plant. Qualifications Associate Degree or equivalent administrative experience.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to interact as a strong team player. Experience in handling and maintaining extremely confidential information. Demonstrated experience in operation of mainframe and personal computer systems and software applications, i. e. , Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Fluency in English O&M Plant management experience - 3 year minimum Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and GE Power QMS "Qualified Auditor" status Strong verbal & written communication skillsAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: Yes This is a remote positionGE Vernova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
