Job DescriptionA Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to generate actionable business insights. They leverage their technical expertise to ensure data accuracy and high quality. The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful information that supports data-driven decision-making within the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesData Collection:

Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and external datasets. Ensure data extraction processes are efficient and reliable. Data Exploration and Preparation: Develop and implement mechanisms for exploring structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Cleanse and preprocess data to ensure it is ready for analysis. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel skills to perform data analysis, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas. Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to uncover trends and insights. Use SQL to query databases and extract relevant data for analysis. Data Visualization:

Create informative and compelling data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders. Data Quality Assessment: Continuously assess and improve data quality. Implement data validation and verification processes. Collaborate with data engineers and other team members to maintain data integrity. Reporting and Communication: Prepare and deliver regular reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. Communicate complex data insights in a straightforward and understandable way to non-technical stakeholders. QualificationsRequired Skills and Qualifications: Advanced skills in Excel, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Experience with programming languages such as Python or R. Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
