Start date to be agreed with the successful candidate. Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an academy. The successful candidate will work with our Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) Manager and under the guidance of our Assistant Principal SEND Coordinator (SENDCo). The successful candidate will support access to learning for pupils with SEND and provide general support to our teaching professionals in the management of pupils and the classroom. Our Teaching Assistants spend time supporting pupils both in lessons and through one-to-one and small group intervention work.Potential Applicants Should HaveExperience of working with young people.The ability to work constructively as part of a team.Strong numeracy/literacy skills.Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in School.What We Offer YouAs a trust, we want to ensure that professionals at every stage in their career have the opportunity to enjoy expert support and training.
