Over 100 million people have installed games developed by the Zephyr team.Zephyr is famous for its creative and inclusive atmosphere, where every member of the team can contribute ideas and suggestions towards game development.The largest games produced by ZephyrMobile: Get Color, Nut Sort, Hey Color, Math Crossword.Role OverviewCreating new levels for casual mobile games.Support of documentation for levels (specifics of each level).Collaborate with the art, product, design, and development team to align creative and technical goals.Conduct research to improve the quality of levels.Balance gameplay elements within artistic and technical constraints.Help identify and resolve issues uncovered by playtests and feedback from cross-functional teams.Incorporate narrative and emotional goals into the gameplay experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise2 years of experience as a level designer in the game industry, preferably in the genre of casual or hyper casual puzzles (match-3, block puzzles, etc.)Portfolio with examples of levels created and released (videos, screenshots, links, description of logic and goals)Tools and Technical Skills:Unity (intermediate or advanced level): Ability to build and customize levels, work with prefabs, triggers, and editorial tools.Miro (basic/intermediate level): To create charts, progression map, level structure.Google Sheets (advanced level): Balancing, tracking, metrics, using formulas, conditional formatting, analytics.Knowledge of working with custom Level Editors, in-game tools.Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Notion and other project management tools.Professional Knowledge:Deep understanding of the fundamentals of level design: Building complexity, learning curve, rhythm of levels. Controlling player attention, flow, pacing, variability of decisions.Good understanding of puzzle game patterns/mechanics: Goal types: “clear”, ‘collect’, “destroy blockers”.Elements of difficulty: blockers, generators, timers, power-ups.Using boosters, combining mechanics, tempo shaping.Knowledge of UX/UI basics in level design (visual guides, guideline, field structure).Experience customizing tutorials and onboarding through levels.Analytical skills: Experience in iteratively refining levels based on feedback and data.Passionate player of casual mobile games.Understanding of trends and dynamics in the mobile gaming market.Quick learner with a willingness to master new tools and workflows.Excellent communication skills.English language - at least B1 level.Will be a plus:Knowledge of tools like GameAnalytics, Firebase, Looker.Ability to read and analyze game metrics: funnel by level, average completion time, % completion, number of attempts.Working at Tripledot20 business days holiday: Enjoy 20 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays to relax and refresh throughout the year.Hybrid Working: We work in the office 3 days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and a third day of your choice.20 business days fully remote working: Work from anywhere in the world, 20 days of the year.Continuous Professional Development: Propel your career with continuous opportunities for professional development.Private Medical Cover: ensure your health is in good hands through private health insurance.Sport Compensation: Stay fit and active with our sport compensation benefit.Taxi to compensate for travel to the office.English Classes: Enhance your English skills with our provided English classes.
