Director of Information Systems

It is anticipated the Lewis County General Hospital will have the following vacancy available: CLOSING: July 26, 2025POSITION: DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS, Full-TimeSHIFT: Primarily DaySALARY RANGE: $90,000-$130,000MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

(A)Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, information systems management, information resource management, microcomputer technology, computer applications or related field and five years of experience in the planning acquisition, operation and maintenance of microcomputer equipment, which shall have involved local area network administration and the installation, maintenance and use of operating, word processing, data base management, financial and utility software, two years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity; or (B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college with an associates degree in one of the areas mentioned in (A) and seven years experience as described in (A), two years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity; or (C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B).

The successful candidate will be required to pass a competitive Civil Service Examination and be reachable for appointment on the resulting Civil Service List.
