Job Description

JOB FUNCTIONWorking in EMEA Supply Chain Planning department, reporting to the EMEA Supply Chain Planning Manager, the Supply Chain Planner is in charge of managing the availability of his/her product-portfolio, aligned with Supply Chain fundamentals (inventory, operational costs, supply & demand accuracy). Makes sure that supply and demand is balanced and exceptions are well managed.

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITYSupply Chain Planning- Cooperates with WW planning team in supply planning for EMEA- Finalizes, analyses & presents the supply commit in S&OP meetings for all key stakeholders- Proactively proposes solutions for availability and inventory issues (air shipment, conversion, demand switch, geobalancing, etc)- Ensures end to end coordination on supply & demand improvement actionsProvides accurate & reliable outlooks - Provides input to finance for revenue outlook- Provides input to manager, finance & other stakeholders on projected constraintsManages supply / demand exceptions - Analyses end of past month backorder (root causes & actions)- Understands the forecasting process and follows up any outliers (special deals, demand changes, product lifecycle changes)- Monitors closely the production and logistics for special deals and ensures timely availability, cooperates with other teams to deliver on time in full- Supports inbound, emergencies, escalations & exceptionsInventory Management - Contributes to inventory outlook- Drives actions to reduce slow moving and end of life products inventory- Ensures availability by announcement date for new product introductionsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply ChainDegree in Supply Chain / International Business/ Business Administration/ Logistics is a plusPERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS and TECHNICAL SKILLS Personal characteristics - Strong communication skills (oral/written)- Strong sense of ownership- Rigour and responsiveness- Analytical skillsTechnical skills - Proficiency in Excel- Knowledge/ experience of SNP, Kinaxis Maestro or other planning tool is an advantageLanguage - English Advanced Working proficiency levelUnfortunately due to the large volume of incoming applications, we are not able to send you further written notification should your application not meet the requirements detailed in the advertisement.
