As a Licensing Manager, you will handle IPX licensing business in Thailand by seeking licensing business opportunities, acquiring new business partners, and managing licensing business accounts in all aspects. We are looking for positive and passionate people who will join us on our journey to become a leading global IP entertainment company by constantly creating new character IPs, growing them, and communicating with fans.ResponsibilitiesEnsure IPX brand positioning and customer perception in Thailand align with the global strategy and needs for the Thailand marketIdentify licensing business opportunities in the Thailand market – identify prospects, evaluate brand position in the industry, research and analyze business opportunitiesGrow the Thailand portfolio by acquiring new licensees from different industriesPitch new licensing businesses and negotiate with partners to get win-win business deals that drive business growth in terms of revenue and brand awareness, while still maintaining business standards from HQMaintain relationships with existing licensees and potential business partners for long-term business growthManage sales-related documentation (business plans, agreements, etc.) as well as product design guidelinesManage licensees and work closely with team members (administrative, product development, marketing) to ensure the overall licensing project is implemented as plannedWork closely with the licensing business team at HQ for deal approval, support and all business inquiriesActively respond to licensees and prospect inquiries, as well as day-to-day problem solvingHandle sales reports, prospect reports, market analysis, license proposals, etc.Handle other tasks as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or a related field5+ years working experience in the retail industry, brand licensing, brand management or business developmentUnderstand the licensing business and the overall Thailand market, especially in the aspect of retail business and consumer productsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPointDetail and result-oriented, well-organizedAbility to think strategically and creativelyAbility to work under pressure and deal with complex and repeated inquiries and problemsProblem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to effectively manage and collaborate with people from different business backgroundsAbility to take ownership and work independently as well as in a collaborative teamExcellent communication skills in Thai and EnglishLocationLINE Thailand Head Office, Gaysorn Tower, BangkokAt LINE Company Thailand, our mission to bring people closer together starts with our own team.
