Our opportunityLife Actuarial Model DeveloperAt Zurich Insurance we are looking for a model developer for the Actuarial Model Development Team in Bratislava. Our team helps to develop and optimize Prophet cash-flow models across the Zurich Insurance Group. The role is ideal for candidates with life actuarial experience who would want to further develop their modelling knowledge in Prophet and face diverse challenges.Your roleAs a Life Actuarial Model Developer, your main responsibilities will involve: Developing, optimizing and maintaining actuarial projection models in Life insurance.Developing supporting applications that provide data to the actuarial projection models.Automating and optimizing reporting processes across different business units.Your Skills And ExperienceAs a Life Actuarial Model Developer, your skills and experience will ideally include:At least 2 years of practical experience in life actuarial area and analytics in a similar fieldUniversity degree in actuarial science, finance, statistics, mathematics, or similarGood communication skills, fluent in EnglishCreative, open-minded, and proactive approachExperience with programming in any language is an advantage Experience with the actuarial software Prophet Professional is an advantageWe offerIn accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross annual compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 2 200 EUR/gross.
