Assembles finished product using both manual and semi-automated processes. Required to start, operate, tend, stop, and clean machinery. Inspects finished product for quality assurance. Perform all functions and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.Education/Experience: High School diplomaExperience in a production environment preferredJob Requirements/Skills:Demonstrated hand assembly skillsKnowledge of production process and importance of efficiencyAbility to work with small parts for extended period of timeDemonstrated analytical skillsComputer proficiencyEssential Functions: Identify necessary items for product assemblyLoad and unload components from machines, carts, dollies and storage unitsClean production area and remove debris from production machines and assembly stationsFeed or place items into equipment for processingPull damaged or defective components out of productionLoad and unload production equipmentMeasure various aspects of product and record dataRead and interpret gaugesLabel parts for identificationEnsure conformance to specificationsPerform all other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:Occasionally lift up to 70 poundsSit for extended periods of timeUse computer keyboard, mouse and other office and production equipment
