What You’ll Do As our CFO, you’ll report directly to the CEO and work as a key member of the leadership team. Your core mission is to mastermind the financial strategy that will lead us through a successful Series A round and beyond. You will build the financial foundation for our next phase of growth, ensuring we scale intelligently while securing the capital to fuel our ambition. You will own the numbers that run our daily operations and tell our story to investors. ResponsibilitiesLead the financial strategy and execution for our Series A raise.

This includes building the financial model from the ground up, creating a compelling data-driven narrative, managing the data room, and driving the investor due diligence process. Partner with the CEO to build a powerful growth story for investors, supported by robust financial projections and flawless SaaS metrics. Own all core financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Build and maintain the operational dashboards and KPIs that provide strategic, real-time insights to the leadership team and board, helping us run the business effectively. Develop scalable financial systems and processes to ensure audit readiness and operational excellence.

Support pricing strategy, customer acquisition analysis, and the continuous improvement of our unit economics. Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and ops to align financial goals with overall business strategy. Who You Are You are a strategic financial operator who has successfully navigated the venture capital fundraising landscape. You’ve been in the trenches of a growing startup and were instrumental in securing its Series A financing. You are not an overseer; you are the one who built the model, crunched the numbers, and knew every detail in the data room.

You understand that a successful fundraise is built on a foundation of rigorous financial discipline and a powerful, data-driven story. You are ready to be a transformative leader for our business. Must-Have QualificationsDirect, hands-on experience leading the financial workstream for a successful Series A (or later) venture capital funding round. This is our single most important requirement. You must be able to speak in detail about your specific role in building the financial model, preparing materials, and managing investor due diligence. 5+ years of relevant experience, with a significant portion at a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS startup.

Deep, practical expertise in financial modeling for both fundraising and internal operations. You are comfortable building complex models in Excel/Google Sheets from scratch. Strong command of SaaS financial metrics and unit economics (LTV, CAC, MRR, churn, etc. ). Hands-on mentality; you are eager to roll up your sleeves and build the finance function from the ground up. An analytical and structured mindset combined with strong business acumen. Nice to HaveBackground in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, or Big Four (in a finance-focused role). Experience preparing for or supporting a Series B or later funding round.
