You light the way.More About The RoleThis is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a lighting Designer in Oslo, Norway with Signify.You will be part of the Nordic LiAS Specification team focusing on all outdoor related segments such as road & street, tunnels and sports in Norway.The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable with detailed calculations, and interested in specializing in tunnel and outdoor lighting rather than creative design.What you'll doPerform technical lighting calculations for outdoor projects, with a strong emphasis on tunnels, as well as streets, roads, and sports facilities also on a Nordic level specifically for tunnels.Act as the primary technical expert for tunnel lighting within the teamYou will work mainly with Relux for lighting calculations; some tasks may involve AutoCAD, but this is minimalCooperate with external partners for technical support and mentoring, especially during onboarding and for large projectsBe present in the office to support and interact with the small local team, contributing to a positive and social work environmentMore About YouWhile we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:A Bachelor and/or Master degree in lighting design, electrical engineering or electrician backgroundYou must be comfortable working independently, as you will be the only tunnel specialist in Norway and may not have immediate peers with the same expertiseYou work with ease with software like Dialux EVO, Relux, AutoCAD and/or REVITDeep interest and proficiency in technical and electrical conceptsA strong desire to learn combined with a natural aptitude for technical skillsFluent in Norwegian and English language skills (other Nordic language of advantage)Everything we’ll do for youYou can grow a lasting career here.
