Sukhumvit (Authentic Thai Restaurant) is looking for Line Chef - Thai RestaurantJob Description / ResponsibilityWe are opening a New Thai Restaurant in Dhaka fully owned by Thai National with it’s Ambience, Attentive Service and delectable dishes. It offers a taste of authentic Thai Flavors in the Heart of Dhaka.We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Line Chef to support our culinary team in creating delicious and memorable dining experiences. As a Line Chef, you will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff, playing a vital role in food preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the culinary arts, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of our kitchen.Responsibilities:Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.Support chefs in the cooking and assembly of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.Receive and store food deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness.Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the timely execution of food orders.Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any issues to the chef.Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.Uphold high standards of cleanliness and order in the kitchen environment.Skills:Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs.Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.Basic knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Team collaboration and the ability to take direction from chefs.Educational RequirementsMaster of Business Management (MBM) in Hospitality ManagementExperience RequirementsAt least 8 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):RestaurantJob LocationDhaka (Gulshan)
