Line Operator

With over 900 staff worldwide, EGR is a market leader in design and produces products for local and overseas automotive markets.We are seeking Line Operator for our Plastic Extrusion Manufacturing Division. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering an immediate start.To be successful you must have the following;• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, specializing in Materials, Processing, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.• Experience in Sheet Extrusion or Film Extrusion processes.• Background working with polymers such as ABS, PC, Acrylic, or PETG.• Able to work full time hours + overtime as required• Current Forklift License is preferred but not required• Physically fit (able to lift 25kgs)• Must be willing to relocate to Brisbane (Employer sponsors visa)• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.What you'll do:• Set up, start, and operate extrusion lines according to production schedules.• Monitor machine performance, temperature, speed, and pressure to maintain product quality.• Perform quality checks on extruded products (e.g., dimensions, surface finish, thickness).• Ensure proper handling of raw materials, including loading resins, additives, and colorants.• Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports and quality logs.• Clean, maintain, and perform basic preventive maintenance on extrusion equipment.• Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all times.• Communicate any production issues to the supervisor promptly.EGR offers a fantastic opportunity to experience a career with a fast-paced, dynamic company.
