Our goal is to optimise performance, boost profitability, and deliver sustainable growth for your property.A linen sorter is responsible for organizing and separating linens, such as towels, bed sheets, and blankets, for a commercial laundry facility or hotel.ResponsibilitiesSort linens according to type, size, and colorInspect linens for stains, tears, or other damageRemove items that require special attention or repairLoad linens into washing machinesAdd detergents and select appropriate wash cyclesOperate industrial laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryersFold and stack linens after washing and dryingMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow safety procedures and guidelineSkills and QualificationHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a similar role may be preferred, but not always requiredAbility to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy loads of laundryAttention to detail to identify and remove damaged itemsBasic knowledge of laundry equipment and detergents may be preferredAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysWillingness to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well in a team environment
