This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work with cutting-edge technologies including Camunda 8, while contributing to strategic technology decisions and mentoring junior team members.Role OverviewAs a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of our Linux-based application servers and infrastructure. You'll work independently on complex operational and development activities while contributing to strategic planning and team development.Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management:Install and configure software and hardware systemsManage network servers and technological toolsSet up and maintain user accounts and access controlsMonitor system performance and maintain systems according to requirements Operations & Maintenance:Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues to ensure operational availabilityEnsure security through access control management, backups, and other protective measuresParticipate in resolving operational problemsMonitor performance and operational availability while maintaining security standards Development & Strategic Planning:Plan, test, and implement upgrades, fixes, patches, and new versionsDevelop and maintain documentation for procedures, processes, standards, and environment statusAnalyze needs, propose and implement new solutions in alignment with strategyContribute to strategy development in the assigned areaProvide professional supervision and coordination for less experienced colleaguesBring initiatives for future development formulation and participate in strategy developmentProfile / Requirements Essential Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in Unix/Linux administration and application server managementProven knowledge of operating and managing JBoss EAP, Kafka, Camunda, Elastic, and related technologies on RHEL and K8s platformsExperience with mass operation of Linux servers Technical Skills:Knowledge of Red Hat and VMware technologies (Ansible, RH Satellite, Git, K8s, Argo CD, VMware vSphere) - advantageUnderstanding of automation and scripting methodologies Language Requirements:English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation comprehension and support communicationCzech language fluency required Personal Qualities:Ability to work independently on complex projectsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsMentoring and leadership capabilitiesStrategic thinking and planning abilitiesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading toolsCollaborative team environment with clear career progression pathsDirect involvement in strategic technology decisionsProfessional development and mentoring opportunitiesReady to take your Linux administration career to the next level?
