Linux Consultant

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Consultant with deep expertise in RedHat and SUSE environments to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade Linux solutions. This role involves defining hosting architectures, capacity planning, and delivering robust infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement Linux hosting architecture with scalability and performance in mind.Perform server hardware sizing (especially for RedHat) and capacity planning.Configure and manage Linux Clustering solutions.Provide technical leadership for proposals and pitches, ensuring synergy and value.Deliver solutions across multiple Linux flavors: RedHat, SUSE (Primary), AIX (Secondary).Support technical escalations and resolve issues within SLA.Expertise in server provisioning, migration, and UNIX platform implementation (including p-Series).Strong knowledge of chassis, blade, and rack-mount servers and evolving technologies.Conduct root cause analysis and ensure positive customer experience.Maintain compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge base updates.Required Skills & Experience:Mastery of Linux domain with strong expertise in RedHat and SUSE.In-depth knowledge of clustering and multi-vendor UNIX products.Experience in UNIX platform migration and effort estimation.Familiarity with Data Center tool frameworks.Ability to articulate competitive technical solutions and manage analysis effectively.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve tickets independently.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Why Join Us?
