This role is ideal for someone with a solid Linux foundation who enjoys learning, problem-solving, and working independently.JOB LINK: https://careers.pst.ag/jobs/it-linux-system-administrator-104What You’ll DoMaintain Linux servers/endpoints (Debian/Ubuntu), networks, VPNs, and internal services.Troubleshoot issues across systems, applications, and networks.Monitor performance, uptime, and security of servers and network infrastructure.Support deployments, updates, automation tasks, and system improvements.Manage firewalls, DNS/DHCP, routing, authentication, and general network configuration.Assist with designing and deploying new services and enhancements.What You Need5+ years of Linux administration experience (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).Experience with scripting/automation and troubleshooting Linux systems.Comfortable working in a small team with minimal supervision.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).Helpful Experience (Nice To Have But Not Required)GitLab/GitHub, Prometheus, GrafanaPython, Java, or Node.jsPostgreSQL, MySQL, or ArangoDBFirewalls (iptables/nftables), Apache/Nginx, or Apache NiFiREST APIs, Scrapy, self-hosted proxiesInterest in AI/LLM tooling or remote-first workWorking HoursShifts may end at 3pm Central European Time (CET)If you love Linux, enjoy self-hosting, and want to grow your skills across networking, automation, and systems administration, we’d love to hear from you.
