Summary of PositionLionsgate is seeking a Coordinator, Human Resources, to support the SVP, Human Resources Business Partner and Director, HR Business Partner, Production. In partnership with the SVP and Director, the role provides strategic Human Resources support across Lionsgate’s Television and Worldwide Television Distribution businesses and film & television productions. This role offers an exciting blend of Human Resources support for both corporate and production employees, with opportunities to contribute to a variety of objectives and to serve as a central HR point of contact for TV, WWTV Distribution, and productions.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct support to the SVP and Director, acting as a liaison between HR and the TV & WWTV Distribution businesses and studio’s production teams (inclusive of corporate and all cast and crew). At the direction of the SVP, HR Business Partner, the Coordinator provides support across corporate TV & WWTV Distribution business units:
Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support all recruitment efforts, ensuring job descriptions are properly created and/or updated and that new positions are created/updated/routed within Success Factors, Lionsgate’s Human Capital Management (HCM) softwarePartner with the business to field and to fulfill requests for the placement of contingent workersCoordinate various employee life-cycle actions, including maintaining the orientation tracker, conducting 30-day check-ins for early career employees, the exit communication and scheduling process, and the creation and delivery of promotion lettersComplete and submit EDD claims, maintain and update employee files, and conduct monthly I-9 audits for TV & WWTV Distribution groupsManage system aspects for all employee changes, including the creation of new positions, promotions, and terminationsAd hoc responsibilities as requestedAt the direction of the SVP and Director, the Coordinator provides support across film and television productions, performing a variety of responsibilities for film and television projects, including:
Organize and maintain Human Resources files for productions to ensure that production has easy access to up-to-date HR documents (code of conduct, content warnings, policies, memos, crew lists, film and television assignment grids)Coordinate, schedule, and track completion of mandatory Harassment Prevention & Content Security Training for all productions and follow up with production teams to ensure outstanding training is completedWork with outside counsel (when necessary) to schedule international Anti-Bribery and Harassment Prevention Trainings presented in the appropriate language(s) to accommodate the productionManage accommodation requests, ensuring all documentation is compiled, filed, and trackers have been updated, and aid in the communication, tracking, and verification of various documentationPartner with Production Accounting teams to initiate and monitor background screenings for all incoming accounting crew members, and follow-up as necessarySchedule meetings, handle travel arrangements, complete expense reporting, and execute a variety of other administrative tasks in support of the SVP and DirectorMaintain Employee Relations Case Management System to ensure that all confidential HR files are organized and accessible (conflict of interest forms, investigation summaries, incident reports)Report on Employee Relations Trends to identify patterns, and partner with Production HR to suggest future preventative measures or improvementsFurther memorialize Production HR processes and procedures via process mapsParticipate in broader HR projects in support of operational process improvementsQualifications and Skills1-2 years of administrative experienceMust have strong interest in a long-term career in Human ResourcesAbility to manage multiple projects with competing deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSolid organizational skills and keen attention to detailProven skills building & maintaining professional relationshipsMust be flexible and willing to work outside of business hoursGood judgment and decision-making skills, and ability to maintain confidentialityProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Works well in dynamic, team-oriented environmentNice to HavesPrevious experience working in human resourcesFamiliarity with Success Factors, Concur, Airtable, First Advantage, and/or Labor SoftAbout LionsgateLionsgate (NYSE:
