The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and technical abilities, excel at managing a diverse range of administrative and transactional tasks, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. We are looking for someone who brings initiative, drive, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of their work.About the practice: LP’s Litigation group handles a wide range of business disputes and commercial litigation, including real estate litigation, debtor-creditor disputes, finance and bankruptcy litigation, labor and employment disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and professional liability litigation. Clients also turn to us for strategic advising built around their business objectives. We are known for crafting creative solutions inside and outside the courtroom that minimize disruption to business, and for delivering significant value and excellent client service. Learn more about LP’s Litigation group here.Experience That Makes You a Fit5+ years of experience in a similar rolePreparing and editing correspondence and other legal documents from written and oral drafts and forms for accuracy, drafting standard correspondence, and emailing communicationsOpening new client matters; maintaining and organizing electronic files, materials, and databases related to group and client mattersScheduling hearings, depositions, and meetingsCoordinating logistics with attorneys for trial and preparing binders and courtroom materialsUtilizing docketing software to accurately record and manage court dates, legal deadlines, and reminder notifications to ensure timely compliance with all case-related requirements.Establishing and maintaining calendar and deadline reminder systems; utilizing the Outlook calendar system for reserving conference rooms and schedulingDrafting requests and responses using forms and templatesCommunicating with clients, court personnel, and opposing counselProcessing invoices, credit card reconciliations and reimbursementsGenerating and editing PowerPoint presentations and other materialsCoordinating travel and dining reservationsSuperior working knowledge of Outlook and Word, including styles and redliningProficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Visio, iManage and HotDocs strongly preferredAbility to think independently and take ownership of projects as assignedThis role reports directly to Allison Zacharski, Legal Coordinator Manager. In her eight years of tenure at LP, Allison has developed strong partnerships with each of the firm’s Practice Groups to provide exceptional client service and delivery.Salary and benefits: The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. LP believes this is the pay range it will pay for this position at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be contingent on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant and the requirements of the position.
