We are seeking a full-time Loan Operations Manager to join our team and work on-site at our Central Road Operations Center, Bloomsburg. This position reports to the SVP, Loan Operations Director.The Loan Operations Manager is responsible for managing the Loan Operations Department to ensure efficient and accurate documentation, processing, booking, and servicing of the Bank's commercial, consumer, and residential loan accounts. Ensures the department's compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements. Directly supervises assigned personnel; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports.The ideal candidate will have a B.S. or B.A. Degree in a related field of study; specialized loan operations education and training. In addition, a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a banking or related position, with a working knowledge of loans and documentation is preferred.The selected candidate will manage the Loan Operations Department to:1. Ensure the efficient and accurate documentation, processing, booking, and servicing of the Bank's commercial, consumer, and residential mortgage loan accounts.2. Abide by current laws, policies, and procedures to promote an environment free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior.3. Cooperate with, participate in, and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with regulatory requirements; ensure the department and all personnel adhere to the same.4. Directly supervise assigned personnel assisting with selection, orientation, and training of new personnel; review employee performance; organize, schedule, and distribute work among assigned personnel; keep personnel informed of pertinent policies and procedures affecting the department and/or their jobs; create an atmosphere of encouraged communication.5. Communicate with Loan Operations Director, other department managers, and appropriate personnel to integrate goals and activities.6. Provide periodic reports to Loan Operations Director and other groups as required throughout the bank.Requirements: The selected candidate must have the ability to use a computer with Windows and Web-based software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient reading and math skills are required, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). Candidates must have proficient typing skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, and a positive and professional mannerism. Must have a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures that impact commercial, consumer and mortgage loan document processing and servicing.Work hours are Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.We provide an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, stock purchase program, paid holidays and generous paid time off.Journey Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
