Fairmont Dubai brings together luxurious surroundings and modern amenities with renowned Fairmont service.Job DescriptionReporting to Guest Experience Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Demonstrate Fairmont’s Brand Standards in all interactionsGreet every Guest that walks in and out of the Hotel through the main entrance revolving doorsMake our Guests and Visitors feel warm and welcomeAssist Guests with luggageAssist Guests with directions to the Front Desk, or any other area of the HotelWelcome Guests using authentically local greetingsEngage in conversation with first time visitors, show them the lobby and the surroundingsQualificationsMust possess outstanding Guest services skills, responsibility, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skillsImpeccable groomingMust be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment while remaining calm and collected.Must be flexible in terms of working hours2 years minimum experience in customer service is an assetStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on Guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Frequent standing and walking throughout shiftOccasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbsFrequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sittingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsAdditional InformationVisa RequirementsPlease note that you must be eligible to live and work in the United Arab Emirates.
