Unilabs invests heavily in technology, equipment, and people - using digital technologies in its state-of-the-art laboratories and imaging institutes - to improve the lives of close to 100 million people every year.About The RoleEnsure compliance with ethical and data protection policies regulation and legislation, updating them with local requirementsProvide ongoing support for Data Privacy project implementation and daily data privacy tasksFoster ethical compliance culture through communication campaigns and participation in forumsAct as the main point of contact for data protection and compliance matters with various stakeholdersCoordinate responses to data protection events such as data subject right requests, data breaches and maintain recordsSupport local teams with data protection impact assessments, privacy standards, legal privacy documentation, and complex privacy questionsReview and draft legal privacy and (incidentally) IT/tech related documentation, such as processing and data transfer documentation and supplier contractsSupport local teams with (transformation) project implementationManage daily ethical compliance tasks and support policy implementationDrive knowledge sharing and training locallyCollaborate across functions to integrate activitiesReport to local senior counsel with a dotted line to the Group Data Privacy OfficerThe position will have cross border responsibilitiesRequirementsLegal background, holding a LLM degreeExperience in data privacy and complianceExperience in IT law and in a health care environment are a plusUnderstanding of EU and local data protection laws3-5 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) is requiredStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesWorking proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
