We’re part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics, connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.The RoleWe are seeking local HC/MC Drivers to join the team in the Innisfail Depot for pickup and delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight.Both Full Time and Casual positions available working day shift across the full week and weekend work when required.Primary Duties Of The Role IncludeWorking with temperature sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runsEnsuring the safe and timely handling of company freightCompleting relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technologyInteracting with clients in a professional mannerWorking closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freightAbout You:The Candidates We Are Looking For WillHave a current & valid HR/HC or MC licenceKnowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systemsHave a commitment to workplace health and safety.Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills.Be well presented, professional and reliable.A current and valid Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential.Previous refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.
