This role involves monitoring and reporting adverse events, collaborating with local health authorities, and supporting the overall pharmacovigilance system to ensure the safety of medicinal products. The position is essential for maintaining the QPPV oversight on the EU countries PV activities and assuring adherence of the MAH to national PV requirements.Location: The candidate must be based in Norway.This is a freelance, on-demand assignment, with no guaranteed or fixed working days. Work will be assigned as needed, based on project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for national regulatory authorities regarding pharmacovigilance matters.Ensure background and experience align with local PV/RA contact person requirements of the country of residence.Handle the notification to the local competent authority and provide all necessary documentation for completing registration.Collect, translate, evaluate, and report adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to the global team in a timely manner in accordance with local regulations and SOPs.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national pharmacovigilance regulations, implement changes as necessary, and inform the global team about any impact on company processes.Perform weekly screening of local scientific journals for safety information and adverse events.Collaborate with the global pharmacovigilance team to ensure alignment of processes and best practices.Support the global team in collecting data for periodic safety reports and PSMF.Perform any other PV activity specifically required by local regulations (e.g., signal detection, complaints management and reporting).Perform reconciliation with internal sources, the global team, and partners.Train and support local staff involved in pharmacovigilance activities.Ensure that the local pharmacovigilance system is adequately documented and operational.Provide support during audits and inspections conducted by local health authorities.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or a related regulatory function.In-depth knowledge of local pharmacovigilance requirements in Estonia.Fluent in local language (written and spoken). Proficient in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.Experience with safety databases and pharmacovigilance software preferred.Flexibility to travel if required for training or regulatory meetings.Next StepsUpon receiving your application, if a match is found, the Talent Acquisition department will contact you for an initial HR interview.
