About Highlights of Holland Opening mid-December, Highlights of Holland is a new experience in the heart of Amsterdam where visitors spend about 80 minutes discovering the country’s highlights in creative and surprising ways. Guests travel through different worlds, each based on Dutch highlights. Step aboard a canal boat to dive into the nation’s water story, cause how do we keep our feet dry, and how did we transform from marshland into metropolis? Hop on a bike to create your own dance track, stroll through a tulip wonderland, and discover much more. It’s a place where sound, design, and storytelling come together. It is fun, inspiring, and the perfect way to experience the Netherlands in a short time. The role As Location Manager, you’re responsible for the day-to-day operations of our experience. You’re the link that keeps everything running smoothly—from guest experience to team dynamics. You’re a visible presence on the floor, leading our hosts and shift leads, coaching on the spot, and making sure every visitor leaves with a big smile. What you’ll do Lead daily operations: opening/closing, visitor flow, safety, and presentation. Help the team shine: build schedules, brief, train, and develop. Serve as the first point of contact for hosts and shift leads, enabling them to perform at their best. Delight visitors: ensure every touchpoint is welcoming and clear. Meet weekly with the founders to review improvements and actions.Spot opportunities to optimize processes and service. Communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Work flexibly (including weekends and peak periods). Who you are A proactive doer with strong people skills. Experienced in leading teams in hospitality, events/production, museums, or TV/film. Practical, stress-resilient, and detail-oriented. A strong communicator: clear, positive, and to the point. You thrive on pace, service, and a well-run floor. What we offer A great workplace in the heart of Amsterdam within a new creative concept. An enthusiastic team with lots of positive energy. Plenty of room for new ideas, learning, and growth. No two days are the same—high energy and variety. Solid employment terms and a market-competitive salary.
