Location Producer

BBC Studios is looking for a Northwest based Location/Strand Producer for BBC One’s flagship consumer series Rip Off Britain, SUBJECT TO GREENLIGHT.This role involves leading the delivery of a location-based strand, managing a small team responsible for a distinct section of every episode. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider development team, sourcing case studies and verifying layered stories; pitching to the Series Editor and Series Producer; leading the strand team through location filming that gets the best out of the contributors, and keeping a tight grip on the unfolding developments of multiple storiesThey will produce distinctive content using a range of specialist production skills, working within BBC compliance policies, including Editorial guidelines.
