The main role of the THAAD New Business Team within the context of proposal development is to provide leadership, oversight, and acquisition strategy to the THAAD FMS, ACD, TPSC, Production, and future contracts. This role will lead and support other Proposal Managers across the THAAD contracts to evolve program needs into a fully defined, on-contract project with the U. S. Government. This involves the entire acquisition life cycle from pre-coordinationwith Government, developing Program Management Estimates (PMEs), RoughOrders of Magnitude (ROMs) and Proposals, andsupporting negotiations with the customer andSubcontractors.
This Proposal Manager Asc (Entry Level) position requires close coordination of technical and schedule requirements with internalLockheed Martin Subject Matter Experts. The Proposal Manager Asc (Entry Level) must be able to work effectively in fast paced and dynamic environments, must be able to learn across all business functions and will support Staff level assignments.
