Log Analyst

We are seeking a Log Analyst to provide expert service and support during the analysis, interpretation and reporting of well log data for the Company’s Wireline / Slickline / Coiled Tubing operations. Actively involved with client to understand their requirement and to provide support.This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur.Key Responsibilities:Deliver expert analysis and interpretation of log data products to clients and other interdepartmental colleagues.Provide support to the planning and development of well logging projects.Contribute in trainings, seminars, demonstrations regarding well log analysis for clients and internal staff.Provide continual support to improve the analytical techniques and products within the organization.Responsible for completing assigned duties on time and in a professional manner, direction required.Responsible for maintaining level of expertise current with latest innovations and practices.Participates in the organization of service quality meetings, forums and conferences.Complies with applicable company policies, including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures.Provide training for lesson learn and technical sharing.Ad-hoc special projects as required by the management.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Petroleum Geoscience or Reservoir Engineering.At least 1 year work experience in the field. Fresh graduates with previous related internship experience are encouraged to apply.Willing to work and travel to remote field locations.Good analytical skills with proven knowledge in using softwares such as Kappa Sapphir, Kappa Emeraude, GE-Sondex WIVA, WIPER and Warrior.
